The second day of the Harvest Festival continues the vibrant celebrations of gratitude for the rice harvest in Sabah and Sarawak. This day is often focused on strengthening community bonds through social gatherings, traditional sports, and extended festivities that highlight the unique cultural identity of the indigenous peoples.

Traditions & Celebrations

Continued Open House: The tradition of "Ngabang" (visiting) remains active, where families travel to visit friends and relatives to share festive meals.
Traditional Sports: Villages often organize competitions such as blowpipe shooting (Sumpit), arm wrestling, and log throwing to celebrate heritage and strength.
Cultural Finals: Many state-level cultural competitions, including the final rounds of beauty pageants (Unduk Ngadau) or folk singing, culminate on this day.
Communal Feasting: Large-scale community meals continue, featuring traditional preserved foods, bamboo-cooked delicacies, and local rice wines.
