Teachers' Day Malaysia

Teachers' Day (Hari Guru) is celebrated on May 16th each year in Malaysia to honour the contributions of teachers to education and nation-building. The date commemorates the 1956 Razak Report, which laid the foundation for Malaysia's national education system. Schools nationwide mark the occasion with appreciation ceremonies, performances, and gifts organised by students and parent-teacher associations.
